The idea, the concept
With Chic So Chic, I set out to reimagine the timeless frame bag — transforming it into something lighter, roomier, and effortlessly elegant. This handbag is designed to carry more than just your essentials. It carries presence. Whether you’re heading to a meeting or browsing a bookstore, this refined piece moves with ease between formality and freedom. Its generous shape allows you to carry a book or tablet in style, while its open design and long handles offer instant accessibility.
How to wear it
This bag is all about intelligent design. Two long, sturdy handles unfold gracefully to reveal the spacious interior, giving you easy access on the go. The handles are positioned to allow you to carry the bag both over your shoulder or by hand, adapting naturally to your rhythm.

Chic So Chic is a distinctive piece in both shape and spirit. Its asymmetrical silhouette, clean lines and carefully placed pleats create a look that is bold yet refined. Made using the traditional frame bag technique, this bag offers architectural beauty with artisanal depth.
Each piece is entirely handmade in Brussels by me, An Vandenberk, using carefully selected deadstock leather — giving a second life to premium materials while embracing a conscious approach to luxury.

Exquisite Leather Selection: The body of the bag is crafted from two complementary dark blue cow leathers: one with a subtle satin sheen, the other with a matte texture that encircles the top and zipper. This interplay of finishes adds layered depth to the design. Inside, a silver-toned leather lining provides a luminous contrast that elevates the whole piece.
