Craftsmanship and Style, what you missed at the Pop-up

A Festive Look Back at the Opulent Origins Pop-up

Sometimes, everything comes together perfectly – the magic of creativity, the warmth of human connection, and the beauty of authentic design. That’s exactly what made the latest edition of the Opulent Origins Pop-up so special. As autumn settled over Brussels, we opened our doors for a celebration of craftsmanship and style. If you were there, you know how extraordinary it was. If not, let me take you on a journey through this festive edition.

Timeless Style in Sustainable Materials

It was heartwarming to see visitors embrace the collection of bamboo festive outfits, a beautiful mix of elegance and sustainability. The collaboration with Valérie Berckmans added a fresh, modern touch, while the eco-friendly Swedish Stockings tights completed every look with grace. The This Is No Disco collection showed how style can be both timeless and mindful.

Details That Leave a Lasting Impression

What truly set this pop-up apart was the diversity of accessories that complemented every outfit. Visitors admired Benaazir’s exotic jewellery, the delicate sea glass creations by Magic in a Box, and the intricate micro-macramé designs by Parad’Elle Creations, each piece telling its own story. MoVe Scarves added not only warmth but a touch of luxury – perfect for the holiday season.

A Pop-up for Everyone

At Opulent Origins, inclusivity is key, and this edition proved it. Men found elegant scarves, cufflinks, bespoke cardholders, and even vintage Thonet furniture by, Reversa. It was wonderful to see visitors find pieces that reflected their unique style, whether as a gift or a personal treat.

Celebrating Craftsmanship and Creativity

As part of the MAD Parcours in Brussels, we joined a vibrant celebration of innovation and craftsmanship in fashion and design. The Day of Crafts brought together six recognised craftswomen, including goldsmith Saskia Shutt, who shared her passion and skill with visitors. It was truly inspiring!

A Busy Atelier

In November, my atelier was a hub of creativity. I crafted unique keychains and cardholders. Pop-up visitors also had the opportunity to acquire rare pieces from my very first leather collection, HEARTcraft – a unique chance to own a piece of history.
